- ID:NE Using DESQview on a Network
- Quarterdeck question - 3/15/89 Joe Wilder
-
- The most common way is to load network drivers and log on to the network
- from a workstation before going into DesQview. You then have network
- drives and services available through all DESQview windows.
-
- Alternately DESQview can be run from a public or private area on a shared
- network drive. (See Appendix C in the DesQview Manual)
-
- Notes:
-
- 1. DESQview is not to be run on a workstation that is also a file server.
-
- 2. DESQview and Network overhead in the 640K conventional memory area can
- sometimes be reduced if you have available extended or expanded memory.
-
- 3. Each copy of DESQview is only licensed for use on one PC or workstation.
- A DESQview program must be purchased for each workstation using it.
